EEA is the result of years of frustration as a teacher. After fifteen years as a teacher (English/Humanities), a specialist (Librarian/Video Production), a district liaison (Educational Technologist) and leader in the strategic planning process, I became more and more convinced that there is an exceptional amount of unnecessary waste in our schools. While this waste does not directly affect student achievement, for the most part, in the long-run, it causes our school leaders to be less effective, causing stress and frustration at every level of the organization. If we can help eliminate the waste, making schools more efficient, administrators and teachers will be able to focus more on student achievement, which is the ultimate goal. Dr. Nancy Hartman, the founder of EEA, hopes to offer school leaders the support, knowledge and resources they need to make a more efficient management system. |
